Tout comme les vaccins \u00e0 base d&rsquo;ARN ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cruciaux pour lutter contre la r\u00e9cente pand\u00e9mie, la recherche du Dr Ariel se concentre sur l&rsquo;utilisation des technologies bas\u00e9es sur l&rsquo;ARN pour remplacer les pesticides synth\u00e9tiques nocifs et cr\u00e9er un environnement plus s\u00fbr pour les humains et la nature.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Les recherches du Dr Ariel ont pos\u00e9 les bases de l&rsquo;utilisation de l&rsquo;ARN pour transmettre des informations vitales aux plantes sans avoir recours aux organismes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement modifi\u00e9s (OGM). En concevant des mol\u00e9cules d&rsquo;ARN sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es agissant comme des substances naturelles, il aide les plantes \u00e0 s&rsquo;adapter au stress environnemental et \u00e0 repousser les pathog\u00e8nes nocifs. Cette approche r\u00e9duit le besoin de pesticides synth\u00e9tiques, rendant l&rsquo;agriculture plus durable. Une perc\u00e9e majeure dans son travail est le d\u00e9veloppement d&rsquo;une plateforme qui contr\u00f4le l&rsquo;expression des g\u00e8nes chez les plantes et les pathog\u00e8nes. Cette technologie de pointe nous permet de prot\u00e9ger les cultures contre les ravageurs et d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer leur r\u00e9sistance aux vagues de chaleur, le tout sans utiliser d&rsquo;OGM.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Pour faire avancer davantage ses recherches, le Dr Ariel a fond\u00e9 sa propre startup, APOLO Biotech, avec le soutien du Conseil national de la recherche (CONICET) en Argentine.
