Researchers developed a highly sensitive blood test that can identify tiny cancer signals long before tumors appear on medical imaging. Using CRISPR technology, DNA nanostructures, and light-based sensing, the system detects even a few biomarker molecules from a single blood sample. Published in Optica Publishing Group’s journal Optica, the technology could enable fast, portable cancer screening and earlier treatment in the future.
