Astronomers have discovered a new dwarf planet in the outer reaches of our solar system, far beyond the orbit of Neptune. The dwarf planet, named 2025 RR1, is estimated to be about 500 kilometers in diameter and has a highly elliptical orbit. The discovery provides new insights into the distribution of objects in the distant solar system and the processes that shaped its formation.
